Why is it always so hard to say goodbye?

Damn, there really is a light at the end of the dark gloomy tunnel.

So I came into class thinking, right I'm going to do this today, I am going to be focussed, prepared and dedicated to nearly finishing this adventure they call "Web Design". So with my focusses, prepared and dedicated self. I managed (notice how I say managed, trust me its hard to get Sir's attention in a class full of screaming teenagers) to get Sir's attention and make him re-tell me what to do. Thankfully today I was able to retain the information he was telling me. You see, if you tell yourself your going to do something, you will do it!

Anyways I've put everything onto Dreamweaver and i have no started to fill up my fashion and arts page. Because I finally got my content and my lil scrolly thing (I will upload photos soon). So yeah, all is swell, good in the hood. AMAZING!

Why Oh Why Oh Why Me?

I swear to you, why does it always have to be me to be the one to be different and make things more difficult for myself? So because of my designer eye and my knack for making things perfect. I have the hardest task, more harder then anyone else in the class, to enable my site to go onto Dreamweaver and also to put images and text in. I mean Sir did warn me weeks ago that it will be challenging, but really. This challenging?

Sir has showed me but it's hard, so I'm going to be honest when I say to you.

On To The next One!

So, I still don't have my content ready... Great! So on to the next one it is. So instead of filling up my website with content like everybody is doing. I've finally got Sirs attention and we are going to break up my homepage into sections, so its ready to transfer onto dreamweaver. Sounds exciting right? Like I'm so close but yet so damn far! Eurgh!

WHAT?! Ahh maayun!

So today in lesson, Sir said that I could not use any of the images from the internet to fill in my pages. What? So urm what am I supposed to use? He said that the reason why everyone can use them is because they got that copyright whatever on the page. I sadly, won't have that on mine.

So now I'm going to have to go on Facebook and ask my friends if I can use their images and stuff.

Umm... so yeah

So yeah, nothing new in todays lesson. I just kind of umm carried on with where I finished last lesson. Which was designing my home page. Oh I remembered to bring in pictures so I can install, which I did. So the homepage is slowly taking shape. Sir said that this could be something really nice, so we shall have to wait and see... OOOOH the suspense!

Hompage! Ohhhh yeah...

So in todays lesson I wore my new trainers. (I'm probably going to get marked down for typing that but you know what, it was something that just had to be said!)

Anyway, in today's lesson I continued to design my homepage. I've gone for a kind of scrapbook idea with like wonky pictures stuck on with cello tape (is that the correct spelling? O_o)

Sir said that we can't use anything copied from google etc (even though people have). So I've done the background of my homepage in the design off a notepad. I painstakingly drew all the red and white lines myself, hold the applause.

Test run? What test run!

In today's lesson we got to grips with Adobe Illustrator, which I must say I really like. I find it much much more "Kalan Friendly" then photoshop. You know what I hate about photoshop, like fair enough it gets the job done but the software is soo ghastly looking. I only work with good looking things, you know?

Today in lesson sir said that we would have to come up with two designs for our website. But because I am so sure of what I want to do and because I've spent so much time and effort on one design, I'm just going to stick with it! :D

In todays lesson I finally settled on one idea for my website. So recently I've been checking out al lot of blogs filled with fashion, culture and arts and I'm not afraid to say... I've been INSPIRED!

Public Announcement!
